Return & Refund Policy
At Noonfolk, we want you to feel at home with the pieces you choose. If something isn’t quite right, here’s how our returns and refund process works:
Returns & Refunds within South Africa
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on our products, provided they are returned in a sellable condition:
- No chips, cracks, scratches, stains, or odours
- Unused, unwashed, and without signs of wear
- Where possible, returned in original packaging (e.g. boxes, dust bags)
To request a return, please email hello@noonfolk.com with your order number and proof of purchase. Items sent back without first contacting us cannot be accepted.
We’ll arrange and cover courier collection from your confirmed South African address at no extra cost. Once received, we’ll inspect the item and, if approved, process your refund within 10 business days to your original payment method.
If the item doesn’t meet our return criteria, we won’t be able to process the refund. In this case, the cost of redelivery back to you will be billed, or you may arrange your own collection.
Returns / Refunds outside South Africa
At this time, we do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders.
Please note:
- Orders shipped outside South Africa may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local sales taxes. These are the responsibility of the recipient.
- The courier will notify you of any duties due before delivery. If you choose not to pay, your order will be returned to Noonfolk and refunded (less shipping and handling fees).
- By law, we must declare the correct order value on customs documents. We cannot alter this information.
Ceramics – Please Note
Our ceramics are made by hand in small batches. This means slight variations in shape, glaze, or finish are part of their character. We see these differences as signs of craftsmanship and uniqueness—not flaws.
If you’re unsure about a piece, please reach out before purchasing. We’re happy to share extra photos or details to help you choose with confidence.
Because of their handmade nature, we do not accept returns based on natural variations in colour, texture, or form. Refunds or replacements will only be issued if a ceramic arrives with a clear manufacturing fault or damage sustained during delivery.
Guarantee on Craftsmanship
We stand by the quality of our pieces. If an item arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace, or refund it at no additional cost.
This guarantee does not cover:
- Damage after delivery (chips, cracks, stains, fraying, accidents, etc.)
- Natural wear and tear over time
To request an assessment, email us at hello@noonfolk.com. We will arrange for collection and assess the piece once it is returned.
Gift Vouchers & Coupon Codes
- Gift Vouchers: Digital vouchers purchased in fixed Rand amounts (e.g. R300, R500). Valid for 3 years (36 months) from issue. Delivered by email with redemption instructions.
- Coupon Codes: Promotional vouchers offering a fixed amount (e.g. R100 off) or percentage discount (e.g. 15%). Valid only for the period specified.
Please note:
- Vouchers and coupon codes are not redeemable for cash.
- They will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission.
- They can only be redeemed at www.noonfolk.com
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by emailing hello@noonfolk.com with your order number and reason. Once shipped, cancellations cannot be processed.
Sale Periods
No price adjustments will be made on items purchased before or after a sale period.
